"I'm really pleased to be bringing this album to you and I really think you're gonna' love some or all of what we've done. There's a whole lotta' livin' and dyin', laughin' and cryin' in the lyrics and the music of these tunes and essentially they are all a part of me. Glad to be able to share them with you. Many of my friends told me that fifteen tunes was an awful lotta' music for an artist's very first album but my argument is that it's not about the number, it's all about the music. Songs are written to be heard, regardless of who's doing them and I know I've got a bunch of music still left in me, maybe more than people might want to hear. Many new artists start out with ten songs on an album, well, I just wanted to bring forth the most music I could for the same cost. I plan on never doing less than a fifteen song album and totally expect criticism from others in the music world for possibly doing more in the future. If the songs are good, and if people want to hear them, why not give people the best bang for their hard-earned dollars. I sincerely hope you thoroughly enjoy the tunes from my album "Texas in the Man." It was a lot of fun to do but it's even more rewarding to know that others have come to know and love these songs as much as I have."
